Our Mental Health First Aid Sessions are available for schools to offer their teachers in-person suicide prevention training to help recognize risk factors and warning signs.
The JCH Foundation began its mission by partnering with Fairview School District and local healthcare service systems to hold a Mental Health First Aid session for teachers, throughout the school system. These sessions aim to make mental health part of the interactions teachers have with students. We want conversations to come up a little bit more organically for teachers. To be able to normalize that and make it an approachable subject is important. |
